I ate at this wonderful little cafe in Portland the other day. It was just a tiny little Internet cafe, but they had everything. It was the Eliot E-Mat Cafe on MLK. I had the turkey sandwich. It was served on this wonderful homemade Italian bread. I could taste just a hint of Italian dressing, which absolutely made the sandwich! I've been wanting another ever since. :) I picked up a few items at the store to make something similar at home. But you know- it's never the same when you make it yourself. And the grocery store shelves were practically empty on Friday afternoon. So I had to settle for these new Oroweat sandwich buns. They are pretty good, if you like wheat bread and the heel or crust of the bread. Because that's what they taste like, a heel. BTW, I do like heels, so I enjoyed it. :) And if you visit their site now, you can print a .40 off coupon for your next shopping adventure. http://www.oroweat.com/spOffers_coupon.html They are also offering a free sandwich box with 3 purchases of bread or buns here: http://www.pcasecure.com/oroweat/breadpromo.cgiEnjoy!
